The Ginn OPEN® Got Game Challenge is back December 21-22, 2008 at Ginn Reunion® Resort. Entries are open to all female amateur and professional golfers.
The winner of the Ginn OPEN Got Game Challenge will receive a spot in the 2009 LPGA Ginn OPEN and a chance to chase the second largest purse on the LPGA tour, scheduled for April 13-19, 2009. The top two amateur finishers, who did not earn the top position, will receive exemptions into the LPGA Monday Qualifier, April 13.
- Any amateur that earns a spot into the 2009 Ginn OPEN or the LPGA Monday Qualifier must provide verification of a USGA Handicap Index of 2.0 or lower to the Ginn OPEN no later than one hour after play is completed on December 22, 2008. Failure to do so will forfeit your exemption or qualifying spot.
- A two day, 36 hole stroke play event. The challenge will take place on Tom Watson’s Signature Independence Course.
- A tie will be decided immediately by a hole-by-hole playoff.
- Applications due December 12, 2008
